This recipe is wonderfully uncomplicated: It requires a glass jar with a non-metallic lid, just two primary ingredients—salt and water—and a mere five minutes of preparation over a few days. Ensure you opt for a salt variety abundant in nutrients, such as Himalayan salt.

Crafting the saltwater sole itself is a breeze:

1. Fill the jar approximately one-quarter full with salt.
2. Pour in filtered water.
3. Seal the jar with a plastic lid; avoid using metal lids, as metal can react with the salt. To prevent unwanted reactions, use wooden spoons instead of metal ones for stirring.
4. Allow it to sit overnight.
5. The following day, inspect to confirm if all the salt has dissolved. If so, add more salt, cover, shake again, and let it rest for another night.
6. Repeat this process until salt residue remains at the bottom, signifying that the water has reached saturation with salt.
7. Each morning, as part of your routine and on an empty stomach, mix one teaspoon of the salt sole brine into a glass of high-quality artesian or spring water. If these options aren't available, filtered water works just fine. 
8. Repeat this daily ritual consistently.
9. There's no need to shake or stir the water each day, as the salt will naturally dissolve over time. Always use a wooden or stiff plastic spoon to scoop out your sole, as metal implements can introduce inorganic matter into the solution.
